The series satirizes the magical girl, mecha, ecchi (soft core adult) harem, homemade animal costume and sentai (costumed superheroes a la the Power Rangers) genres in equal measures. Tanpopo is desperate for someone to test out her new power suit to gain a development contract with the Galaxy Federation Police.
